Present session’s first special assembly on Utkal Diwas was held on 31 March,2023 in the school campus.
The assembly began with the school prayer by the choir. It was followed by a thought ( by Amit Mishra of grade 8) and the word presentation ( by Ishika Amarka of grade 8). The school choir presented the state song of Odisha ” Vande Utkal Janani” and Daiwik Arya of grade 6 played the keyboard on it too . A speech in English was presented by Vaibhavi of grade 7 on the greatness of the land of Odisha. Aditya Bharadwaj Mishra from grade 6 spoke about the rich history of Utkal in Odia.
The Goenkans were mesmerized by the two gracious dance performances by Archita Das( Odissi) and Dhanvi Dhara ( tribute to the mother land).
The Principal of the school, Mr S. K. Singh extended his heartiest wishes to all the teachers and students on the occasion of Utkal Diwas.
The assembly got over with the National Anthem.
