The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi has formulated an internationally benchmarked global curriculum. This is enquiry and skill based on individual learning styles in terms of pedagogy and assessment. It addresses global needs as well as relate to local issues and local culture. It also carries forward the basic strength of the Indian system of education. It aims to promote critical and creative thinking skills, effective communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills and information and media skills. There is an inbuilt flexibility as it provides a foundation and an extension curriculum in all subject areas to cater to the different pace of learners.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is an eminent board of school education in India. An autonomous body under the aegis of the Ministry of HRD, it is the second oldest Board of the country, with more than 8300 schools.
