G D Goenka Public School, Bhubaneswar is indeed the first school to have an orientation program for parents of LKG to Grade 2 on National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage 2022. The new structure of five year education at Foundational stage ( from Nursery to grade 2) will be introduced from the session 2023-24.
The orientation program was held on 20 March,2023 ( for LKG and UKG) and on 21 March, 2023 ( for grades 1 and 2)in the school premises. The CEO of the school, Mr Alok Dash, the Principal,Mr S.K. Singh and DOAA , Mr Pradeep Kumar Ray attended the program and had an interactive session with the esteemed parents.
After the program, the parents were handed over a few important documents related to the coming academic year.
