On the momentous date of August 9, 2023, Goenka School set the stage for an exceptional science exhibition, an event that left a profound impact on both students and attendees alike. The CEO of the school, Mr. Alok Dash, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dubbed as “Explorica” for grades 3 to 8 and “Bingo” for grades 1 and 2 this exhibition was a celebration of the boundless curiosity and ingenuity of our students.
Event Highlights:
The event commenced at 10:30 am with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment and knowledge that the students aimed to impart through their projects. The Principal, Mr. S. K. Singh, and the entire faculty were present, showing their unwavering support for the young minds.
Participation:
Students from various grade levels enthusiastically participated, showcasing their innovative and thought-provoking projects. Notably, students from LKG and UKG may not have been part of the exhibition but their older peers displayed a remarkable array of projects.
Diverse Topics:
The exhibition was a vibrant showcase of scientific exploration. Students in grades 3 to 8 presented an impressive array of models spanning different branches of science. These included molecular models, space satellites, DC motors, transformers, solar systems, drones, hydroponics plantation, Chandrayaan and more. Meanwhile, grades 1 and 2 astounded the audience with exhibits on human body parts, indoor and outdoor games, the food pyramid, ATM machines, and more.
Chief Guest’s Visit:
Our esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Alok Dash, accompanied by Principal Sir, toured the entire exhibition. They engaged with students, eager to learn about the intricate details of each model. Their presence added a sense of importance and motivation to the young scientists.
Audience Enchantment:
The audience was left spellbound by the sheer variety and quality of the projects on display. It was heartening to see students not only grasping complex scientific concepts but also presenting them in an engaging and accessible manner.
