The Goenkans have gone to “Kalabhoomi” arts and handicrafts museum near Pokhariput today. The students departed at 9:20am from the school and returned back at 11:50 am to the school.
They observed many handicraft items such as terracotta toys, storage vessles, cooking pots made out of metals and mud, Ramayan scriptures drawn on palm leaves, silver Filligre crafts and many more.
There was a short movie about tradition and skilled craftsmen on our land of Odisha. The students even learnet how the handicrafts are made using many materials such as leaves, metal stylus, and other tools.
